Blueberries, mulberries, peppery herbs, and some flower notes all emerge from the 2020 Syrah Purisima Mountain Vineyard, a medium to full-bodied, fruit-forward, plush, sexy little gem of a Syrah that will offer loads of pleasure over the coming 4-6 years or more. This was completely destemmed and brought up in 35% new French oak.

The 2020 Syrah Purisima Mountain Vineyard is a powerful, dense wine. Blueberry, lavender, melted road tar and spice convey brooding intensity. There's plenty of depth, with huge tannins to match. The virile Syrah is going to require a measure of patience.
