The 2019 Erba Cabernet Sauvignon is the most intellectual of our 2019's. It has a fabulous combination of red fruits, cherry, plum and boysenberry which compete to see who can dominate each and every sip. These pure fruit flavors mingle with mocha and a fabulous minerality that gives this wine a flavor profile that pulls you into the glass. When tasting it, I go back and back and continue to discover new flavors and accents. Even though the Vineyard is a rock pile, the wine's textures are incredibly supple and round. The tannins are always present, but never assertive. It is deep, complex and continues to steal your attention.
