Deceptive in its light-bodied structure, the 2021 Grenache Vie Caprice packs quite the punch. Darker tonalities of fruit, dried herbs, anise, lavender, incense and sweet pipe tobacco abound. The 2021 is going to need a bit of time for the tannins to soften. Attractive floral and spice notes persist on the finish.
