The 2016 Red Wine The 24 is a blend of 35% Grenache, 33% Mourvèdre, 24% Syrah and 9% Malbec. Medium ruby-purple, it gives up scents of cassis, maraschino cherries, cedar, cigar wrapper and chargrill with nuances of violet, white pepper, graphite and a framing of new oak spice. The full-bodied palate is dense and lushly fruited with a firm but ripe frame and good freshness, finishing with that youthful new oak. Give this another year in bottle.

Zesty and plump with spice, featuring focused dried cherry, smoky anise and pepper flavors that finish with lively but polished tannins. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Malbec. Drink now through 2024.

The 2016 Grenache Red Wine Blend The 24 is close to an even split of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, with a splash of Malbec thrown in for good measure. It has a classic Southern Rhône-like style in its mulled red and black fruits, peppery herbs, and sandalwood aromas and flavors. Nicely textured, medium-bodied, and charming on the palate, it's well worth enjoying over the coming 4-5 years.
