The finest wine I've tasted from this estate, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec that spent 20 months in 80% new French oak. This medium to full-bodied, round, incredibly sexy beauty offers loads of red and blue fruits, some spice, graphite, loamy earth, and tobacco nuances, supple tannins, plenty of mid-palate flesh, and a great finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon MMXIX is composed of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of redcurrant jelly, cassis and boysenberries, plus hints of cardamom, bouquet garni, red roses and lavender. Full-bodied, the palate is laden with vibrant black fruits accented by red fruit sparks, supported by firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and perfumed. Rating: 97+

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Cervantes is packed with inky dark red fruit, chocolate, scorched earth and herbs. Big, grippy tannins add to the wine's overall energy. This is an especially bold, punchy Cabernet Sauvignon. There's not a lot of subtlety, but it all seems to work, and quite well.
