The 2021 Syrah California is peppery and classic, with black plum and a nice background note of Kalamata olive. Full-bodied, with a ripe, velvety texture, supple richness, and a touch of cured meat, it remains low alcohol and fresh. It is drinking well now and can be enjoyed over the next few years.
