From one of the lowest yielding vintages in our history, the 2020 Pinot Noir portfolio showcases some of my favorite attributes of young red wines: bright, fresh fruit aromas and flavors, sweet floral perfume, sweet and savory herbs and a distinct saline minerality all tied up in a playful and juicy structure. This wine is no exception. An explosively gorgeous perfume of red fruit candies, roses, violets, sweet herbs, black and green teas, grilled meats, toasted French oak and sweet spices. On the palate, this wine is pure and silky with a youthful charm of wild strawberries, potpourri, sweet peppers, French tarragon, basil and mint. It is rich, but this great terroir gifts a texture that is effortlessly elegant. Fresh, crunchy fruit flavors and floral aromas abound with an irresistible ferrous iron mineral structure.
