Poised, polished and expressive, with violet, raspberry and savory spice flavors that take on complexity toward refined tannins. Drink now through 2026. 530 cases made.

Brilliant red. Warm red/blue fruits, savory herbs and a strong vanilla note on the pungent nose. Smooth and open-knit, offering slightly jammy boysenberry and cherry flavors and a hint of candied licorice. Finishes on a youthfully tannic note, with good persistence and lingering dark fruit and herb qualities.

Surprisingly soft immediately upon opening, this offers loose-knit flavors of strawberry and dilute cherry. Equally light notes of earth, herb and stem come up with the finishing tannins. It's all in balance, and it makes for an interesting and complete wine, though with a tilt toward herbal flavors despite aging in three-quarters new French oak.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Domaine Danielle Laurent is pale to medium ruby-purple with a touch of rubbery reduction on the nose giving way to blackcurrants and cherries with notes of stewed black tea. The light to medium-bodied palate offers juicy black fruits in the mouth with soft tannins and a satisfying finish. 500 cases produced.
