Ninety-four percent of the grapes used in this wine were sourced from 10 of our estate vineyards: 53% from the Chehalem Mountains and Ribbon Ridge American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), 16% from Yamhill Carlton, 22% from the Eola-Amity Hills, and 3% from the Dundee Hills. The remaining 6% was derived from non-estate vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley.
With its broad array of origins and clones, this wine displays red aromas (candied cherry, pomegranate and raspberry) on the nose and the palate. In addition, one finds a light touch of brown spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, all-spice). True to our house style, it is elegantly textured with seamlessly integrated, silky, polished tannins. Pair it with salmon, ahi, veal, pork, poultry (think duck), beef or hearty vegetarian entrees.

With a youthful transparent red hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is perfumed out of the gate with notes of fresh red cherries, sweet herbs, wet stone, and a hint of purple flowers shining through. Approachable and medium-bodied, it has a delicate, savory, juicy feel, with fine tannins and a light, earthy note of beetroot on the finish. This is a very charming wine to drink over the next few years. Drink 2024-2028. Bottled under screwcap.
