A blend of 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Blanc and 30% Pinot Gris, the 2016 Barden Fonte reveals aromas of green herbs, aromatic bitters, lemon and apple. On the palate, it's glossy, medium to full-bodied and crisp, with chalky grip on the finish. This is a little facile, though I could see it gaining appreciably in complexity with a little bottle age.
