Attractive lemon aromas dominate the clear and inviting bouquet of the Le Demi-Sec, which is an assemblage of 92% of Chardonnay and 8% of Pinot Noir (degorged in 2011). The sweetness lends a certain richness to the medium-bodied sparkling wine, which therefore lacks some bit of precision and purity.
