The 2018 Fixin Les Arvelets 1er Cru, which contains 50% whole-bunch fruit, has a forward and showy bouquet, perhaps showing a little sur-maturite compared to its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, and here I find more refinedment and composure. There is gentle grip and a judicious touch of spice on the finish. A decent Fixin, just guided by growing season rather than terroir.
