Presidential Vintage Port 2011

So ripe, rich and tempered with acidity, this is already an attractive wine. The backbone of tannins is given a velvet surround-perfumed, ripe and richly juicy. Black fruit comes through strongly, packed with sweetness. Likely to have a medium-term future.

Good bright medium ruby. Slightly high-toned aromas of black cherry, blackberry and violet. Sweet and spicy, with good energy and moderate depth to the peppery dark fruit flavors. Juicy rather than particularly rich, but still a tad warm on the back.
