Classic Gevrey meaty, almost gamey nuances emerge from the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin, which has a touch of reduction in its darker red and black fruits as well as peppery nuances. Medium-bodied and nicely concentrated, it starts out firm and angular but fleshes out nicely with time in the glass. This outstanding effort will benefit from a year or two in bottle and keep through 2031+.

A ripe, plummy style, offering blackberry, black cherry, dark plum and earth flavors, all slightly macerated. Backed by light-grained tannins, with coffee and bittersweet chocolate accents. Drink now through 2027.
