The 2019 Xynisteri seemed promising when I first saw it some six months ago, but it was rather closed. Add six months to blossom, and suddenly this is gorgeous. Fruity but fresh, it has a bit of spice on the finish and enough stuffing to hold up to foods that are not too strongly flavored. It's crisp, clean and enticing. I'm not sure it is going anywhere special if you continue to hold it, and it is a little shy in the mid-palate, but it is hard to resist just now. We'll let the wine have the last word in several years.
