Disgorged in January 2018, Glavier's NV Blanc de Blancs La Grace d'Hakamiah is showing well, bursting with aromas of buttered citrus fruit, fresh pastry, yellow apples, honeycomb and warm biscuits. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, it's built around a generous core of fruit and a bright spine of acidity. It's already drinking well.

A steely version, with a firm backbone of acidity, notes of crunchy pear, raw almond and lemon pith, and an intensity to the lively mousse. Chalky on the finish, showing hints of elderflower and honey. This will shine brightest paired with food, from caviar to poached chicken. Disgorged January 2018. Best after 2020.

The NV Extra Brut La Grâce d'Hakamiah is gorgeous in this release, with lovely balance of richness and energy. Creamy and expansive, the La Grâce d'Hakamiah is absolutely delicious today. Lemon confit, white flowers and white pepper build as this mid-weight, beautifully layered Champagne shows off its allure. Some slightly angular contours remain, but that is not enough to detract from the wine's pleasure. Dosage is 4 grams per liter. Disgorged: March 1, 2019.
