Wood aged, this balanced wine is poised between ripe citrus and spice. It offers a hint of pineapple along with lively acidity.

The 2020 Cuvee Caroline leaps from the glass with notes of lemon drops, fresh grapefruit and lime cordial, plus wafts of yuzu and honeysuckle. Medium-bodied, the palate has a seriously racy backbone cutting through the intense citrus and savory layers, finishing with great length and a skip in its step.

The 2020 Cuvee Caroline is rich, ample and creamy. Vinification in barrel, with lees stirring, brings out gorgeous texture. This is one of the better vintages I can remember tasting. Lime confit, apricot, white flowers and a kick of spice build into the resonant finish.

I consistently love this cuvée, and the 2020 Château De Chantegrive Caroline Blanc is no exception. Revealing a light gold hue as well as a great nose of honeyed citrus, white flowers, and bright grapefruit, it's medium-bodied, has a supple, elegant mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and outstanding length. It's another brilliant white from this team that will keep for 2-4 years, if not longer.
