Domaine de Courbissac Les Traverses Rouge 2016

Produced from the estate's young vines (12-25 years of age), the 2016 Minervois Les Traverses is roughly one-third each Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, all aged six months in concrete. It's a crisp, complex rendering of those varieties, with herbal elements entwining hints of game meats and dark fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it's approachable now and should drink well for at least 4-5 years.
