One of my favorite Viogniers from California, the 2021 Viognier 2 Guys 2 Barrels comes all from the Stagecoach Vineyard and is brought up in barrels. It always has a ripe Condrieu-like vibe, and the 2021 is no exception with its honeyed pineapple, apricot, musky melon, and exotic floral aromas and flavors. With full-bodied richness, a round, lush mouthfeel, a good sense of freshness, and a great finish, it's going to stand up to the best examples of this variety out there. Bravo. Drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years.
