I loved the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Stormy Weather, a fresh, pure, focused 2018 that has a sweet core of cassis and blueberry fruits as well as notes of iron, tobacco, and leafy herbs. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, has silky tannins, and solid structure. Unfortunately, there are a scant 424 cases produced, but it's a gorgeous wine from winemaker Cameron Woodbridge that's well worth seeking out.

Aged 29 months in 100% new French oak, the Calistoga-sourced 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up attractive notes of cedar, cassis and plum on the nose. Full-bodied and velvety, with savory-meaty notes and a long, mouthwatering finish, it should drink well for up to a decade.
