From 50-year-old vines, the 2016 Zierfandler Ried Traiskirchner Mandel-Höh is intense and spicy, mineral and nutty on the nose. Full-bodied, firm and intense on the palate, this is a very elegant, finessed and balanced Zierfandler, with some bitterness on the finish. It shows great aging potential. I'd keep it for at least another three or four years but suppose it will still be great in 20 years time.

Orange blossom honey, chamomile and honeysuckle notes take the center stage in this ripe white. Shows a sophisticated side, with a burnt sugar aroma and licorice snap details that enliven the overall feel. A dried apricot hint lingers on the finish. Drink now through 2024. 50 cases imported.
