Showing an inky dark appearance as it pours from the bottle, the Vigne Marina Coppi 2014 Colli Tortonesi Barbera Superiore I Grop is a fantastic wine that offers evident primary fruit (with plum and dried blackberries) backed by subtle tertiary aromas of spice, tar and licorice. This Barbera is drinking beautifully right now. This is a medium-bodied red, yet the concentration and the acidity bat above average. The 2014 vintage is a delightful surprise, elegant and tonic all at once. Only 2,700 bottles were released.
