A Malbec from the Uco Valley aged for nine months in 80/20 French and American oak, respectively. Deep purple in the glass. The nose offers aromas of sour cherry and blueberry and a touch of flesh as part of a reductive profile that subsequently opens into bold fruit plus a hint of thyme. Sugary in the mouth, with gentle, sweet tannins and a long, bold finish. Let it sit in the glass a while.

The 2018 Terroir Series Malbec has notes of iron and blood and good freshness despite its high alcohol. It has abundant, slightly dusty tannins that gave it a powdery texture and a dry finish. 95,208 bottles were produced. It was bottled in January 2020.
