Red fruited on the nose, the 2023 Weir Vineyard Pinot Noir is complexed with dried herbs, crushed rocks, and minerals. Typical of this site, the wine showcases the savory side of Pinot Noir; refreshing and bright on the palate, with highlights of crunchy, red fruit flavors and an undertone of Bergamot. The rocky and mineral-laden soils in this vineyard produce a wine with refined tannin and a mineral structure that synergizes to create a palate-coating sensation. Enjoy after midterm cellaring.

A powerful mountain expression of pinot noir with crushed rocks on the nose. Tense and structured, showing flavors of Aperol, oranges and tart red fruit with abundant acidity and fine tannins. Drink after 2027.
From a site planted in 1991 in the Yorkville Highlands of Mendocino County, where the serpentine soils are rich in magnesium and derived from deep within the earth’s core, the 2023 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard is one of Jeff’s favorite vintages. Bright red in color, it shows depth and complexity, with mineral drive, pine needles, clove, brambly berries, orange lift, and iron tones. Medium-bodied, with refined tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and linear focus, I would not be surprised to see it improve over the coming decade or more. Drink 2027-2042.
The 2023 Pinot Noir Weir Vineyard was matured for 16 months in 55% new French oak. It has detailed aromas of pomegranate, blood orange, flint, lavender and sagebrush. The full-bodied palate's concentrated flavors are framed by lacy tannins and bright acidity, and it has a long, floral finish. 775 cases were made.
