This delivers sappy intensity, with a mix of morello cherry, boysenberry and pomegranate aromas and flavors supported by fresh, finely beaded acidity. Hibiscus and iris gild the long, flowing finish, which sparkles with pretty energy. Drink now through 2036.
Matured for 16 months in 68% new French oak, the 2023 Pinot Noir Rochioli Riverblock Vineyard has slowly opening aromas of boysenberry and blueberry, cast iron, moss and fennel. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled with mineral-driven flavors, velvety tannins, bright acidity and a long, perfumed finish. It feels youthfully coiled and will benefit from several years in the cellar. 400 cases were made.
