Pale gold. A deeply perfumed nose evokes fresh melon, Meyer lemon, nectarine and white flowers, and a smoky nuance builds with air. Sappy, concentrated and penetrating in the mouth, offering juicy citrus and orchard fruit flavors and suggestions of chamomile, buttered toast and fennel. A smoky mineral element adds lift and cut to the impressively long finish, which leaves behind a suave floral note.

With a lovely perfume of orange blossoms and honeysuckle over a core of ripe apricots, grapefruit and brioche, plus a waft of beeswax, the 2015 Cuvée Anne Chardonnay is medium-bodied, fresh and finely crafted, with a lovely satiny texture and long, savory finish. 150 cases were made.
