The nose has pretty floral hints of citrus blossom, layered with apricot, peach, lemon tart and nuts. Toasted brioche on the firm palate, with pear, candied peel, lots of fresh stone fruit and ripe citrus. Fine bubbles and lingering freshness on the finish. Tasted in magnum. The 2012 vintage saw the addition of 11% of wines aged in foudres, adding an extra toastiness to the blend.
