The harmonious 2018 Primus The Blend was produced with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Carménère, 10% Petit Verdot, 10% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Franc from Apalta. It matured in barriques for 12 months, except for 33% of the wine that aged in 5,000-liter oak foudres. It's polished and sleek, balanced and with a medium body and moderate alcohol and freshness. Impressive. 120,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2020.
