The 2022 Malbec Golden Reserve Trivento was aged up to 12 months in various barrels. It features notes of ripe plum, a touch of raisin, bell pepper and fine wood, with a faint hint of violet. The palate is velvety, smooth and flavorful, with a notable grip that enhances its structure. This is a great vintage for what is perhaps Argentina's most competitive commercial wine.
The 2022 Golden Reserve Malbec was fermented in stainless steel and matured for 12 months in barrique with a small portion of foudre. Opening with a ripe, candied nose of red fruits, fresh herbs and dried flowers, the palate is straightforward and precise, concluding with a plush, drying finish. It's a well-crafted introduction to Malbec from Luján de Cuyo.
