The 2021 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling trocken Bömer is a single-fuder Riesling from a plot next to the village where it has been produced since the 2011 vintage. Still dusty and reductive on the yeasty nose (sulfured a week before I tasted it in July 2022), this is a very elegant, refined and lush Riesling with fine tannins and crystalline, saline acidity. A medium-bodied but juicy and complete Riesling that was to be bottled in late August or early September. It has a very long finish with bright and lush white peach aromas.
