The 2025 Mourvedre Rose is a different animal from last year's edition. Whereas the 2024 was lighter and more classically Provençal in style, the 2025 is richer, darker in both color and flavor, denser and almost more in line with the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo style that the Kirschenbloom seeks to channel. Red licorice, fresh strawberry, sweet cream, blood orange zest and lavender all explode from the glass. The 2025 is powerfully aromatic, deeply flavorful and so smooth in its contours. It's utterly drinkable and incredibly fresh. Floral complexity builds and builds with time in the glass. What more could you want
