Aged in 30% new French oak, it offers up scents of cassis and dark chocolate, tinged with hints of mint and bay leaf. Full-bodied, ripe and densely concentrated, this is still youthful at nearly eight years after the vintage, with another decade of solid drinking ahead of it.
