Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Red Car Estate has a lovely perfume of crushed red cherries, raspberries and pomegranate with a touch of stewed rhubarb and underlying forest floor and moss scents. Light to medium-bodied, very delicate and lively in the mouth, it has bags of energy and perfume, soft tannins and a long, earthy finish. 300 cases produced.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard brings together the natural richness of the year with the tension and focus that are such signatures of this coastal site. Energetic and tightly wound, the Estate is one of the more reticent wines in the range, I imagine it will always remain a wine of structure first and foremost.
