: Also a barrel selection and aged 15 months in barrel, visually the 2022 Chardonnay Point Rouge offers a touch more clarity, with a shimmering yellow hue. With 80% of the fruit from Belle Cote and 10% each from the other vineyards, it’s layered aromatically with notes of honeyed citrus, fresh linen, melon, honeydew, and vanilla bean. On the palate, it gains in intensity and builds through the finish, and it’s pristine and fresh all the way through. It has real staying power, with plenty of clarity and focus that’s balanced with density and power. It closes with a mouthwatering finish. Drink 2026-2046. Audrey Frick.
