The Patz & Hall Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard from the Santa Lucia Highlands in 2017 is characterized by rich flavors of dark cherry, plum, and hints of earthiness, complemented by subtle spice and oak notes. This wine embodies the unique terroir of the region, where the coastal influence and well-drained soil contribute to its complexity and depth.
For optimal enjoyment, serve the wine slightly below room temperature in a Burgundy glass to enhance its aromatic profile. It pairs well with roasted duck, grilled salmon, or mushroom risotto, making it a versatile choice for both casual and formal dining occasions.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard was made with 10% whole cluster and aged in 70% new oak. Pale to medium ruby-purple, it opens warm and inviting with cinnamon toast, Bing cherries, fresh cranberries, red licorice, tangerine peel, tree bark and amaro. It’s medium-bodied, über silky and spicy, framed by grainy tannins and lip-smacking acidity with a long, flavorful finish. Well done! 743 cases produced."
