With 2025 arriving so early, they were already racking Pinot Noir during my visit. Consistently the benchmark for Sauvignon Blanc in both the Willamette Valley and the United States, the 2025 Sauvignon Blanc from Patricia Green opens with tropical yet pure fruit, passionfruit, lime zest, grapefruit, and salty earth. Medium-bodied, it has refreshing lift, lovely concentration, and excellent length, with just a faint youthful spritz. While tropical in profile, it remains restrained rather than pungent, making it an ideal by-the-glass wine.
