Bright, forward and generous style, with macerated red and black cherry aromas and a touch of coffee. Red plum, tomato and spice is well matched by chewy, slightly grippy tannins and acidity. Some power and pepper too, but the rough-cut fruit dominates. May benefit from another year or so in bottle.
