The 2016 Taurasi Renonno has only gotten better in bottle over the last year. It’s now creamy and full-bodied with plush black fruits and a bouquet of sweet tobacco, earth and spice. Silky tannins linger on and on, yet the balance is otherworldly. An upgrade is in order.
