Some quite tarry, raw and wild-berry aromas here, leading to a palate that delivers a very ripe, fresh and juicy set of dark plums and berries. This has impressive concentration in the mouth. Drink or hold.

The 2017 Malbec Special Selection has a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon to give it some extra spark. It has a spicy/herbal twist and the telltale aromas and texture of the Malbec from Mendoza with the classical Mendel vinification and respectful élevage, with integrated oak and a balanced palate and a little more structure than the regular Malbec from this same vintage. 10,000 bottles were filled in February 2019, and this is bottled specifically for Majestic in the UK.
