Fresh green apple and lemon aromas, floral acacia and jasmine. Vibrant lime, lavender, ripe greengage, mango and seaweed notes. Youthful, zesty, and clean with freshness on the palate and a long sandalwood finish.
Their most-exported product so far, the 2020 Brut Reserva is a blend of 40% Xarel.lo, 30% Macabeo and 30% Parellada, produced with grapes from organically farmed vineyards. Aged for at least 20 months with the lees in bottle, it has 11.5% alcohol, a pH of 2.95 and a dosage to complete eight grams of sugar. It's young and fruit-driven, a bit sweet, approachable and pleasant. It feels serious, clean and harmonious, very drinkable and impressive. 37,000 bottles produced. It was disgorged in January 2024, but like all Corpinnat wines, the disgorgement date is printed on the back label.
The 2020 Brut Reserva combines 40% Xarel·lo, 30% Macabeo and 30% Parellada from Subirats, Penedès. Aged 18 months on the lees, this Corpinnat was disgorged in early 2024, offering aromas of lemon and pink peppercorn alongside a layer of green apple. Dry and smooth, the light bubbles support a lasting palate, finishing with an ethereal and refreshing mouthfeel. This is a delicate, savory sparkling wine.
