l’Esprit de Chevalier Pessac Leognan Rouge 2020 showcases a balanced flavor profile of dark fruits, subtle oak, and well-integrated tannins. Originating from the Pessac-Léognan region in Bordeaux, France, this wine benefits from the area's gravelly soils and moderate climate, contributing to its refined structure and complexity.
For optimal enjoyment, serve at a temperature of 16-18°C. This wine pairs well with grilled meats, rich sauces, and aged cheeses. Decanting for 30 minutes prior to serving can enhance its aromatic qualities and overall experience.

The lead pencil and blackcurrant aromas are very impressive. Full-bodied and tannic, but very velvety with fine texture. Lots of pretty fruit. Typical for the appellation. Second wine of Domaine de Chevalier. Try after 2028.
