All Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 92% new French oak, it delivers intense floral notes allied to concentrated cassis fruit. It's medium to full-bodied (14.3% alcohol) and tightly wound, its silky texture wrapped around a core of inner strength that lingers energetically through the long finish.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Grand Vin is incredibly tightly wound, which I take as a very positive sign for its future development. Veins of insistent tannin wrap around a core of blue/black fruit, lavender, mocha and licorice. Readers will have to be patient here.
