The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc had been bottled only about a month prior to my August 2025 visit, but it was already singing. Sourced from the home property in St. Helena, fermented and brought up in "cigar" barrels (30% new), it's loaded with nectarine, vanilla and fig nuances. It's medium- to full-bodied, plush, creamy and frankly delicious, with ample length and freshness on the finish.
The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc offers up scents of lemon confit, slate, white pepper, mint and dried herbs, all framed by a gentle kiss of French oak. Lees-stirring builds the mid-palate beautifully. A dollop of Musqué clone adds aromatic lift and presence through to the finish.
