A blend of 58% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Cabernet Franc the 2021 Phoenix is sourced from various blocks across the ranch. Uninoculated, it spent 23 months in 60% new French oak prior to bottling. Black cherries and tobacco notes are framed by hints of cedar and vanilla on the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and concentrated, with dusty tannins and nuances of Mexican chocolate on the finish.
