Lifted nose of raspberries and violets. Rich and concentrated, with supple tannins, this has solid fruit and ample structure, but not at the expense of complexity. Spicy and long.
The 2013 Barolo Bussia shows tight delineation with crisp fruity aromas that are characteristic of this slightly cooler and longer growing season. Sour cherry, dried raspberry and spice lead to a fresh finale with integrated tannins and acidity. This vintage saw a 40-day maceration period in order to add to the aromatic intensity and the structural fiber of the wine. Some 26,000 bottles were produced.
