The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Calistoga Reserve has a dense ruby/purple color, rich, concentrated, unevolved blackberry and cassis flavors, some loamy soil undertones, and graphite. It is full-bodied, youthful, and for a 2014, more backward than one would expect. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and should keep two decades or more.
