The 2022 Pinot Noir Reserve is darkly floral with a licorice tinge that gives way to an intense burst of black raspberries and traces of sage. It sweeps across the palate with textures of pure silk, soft and supple, displaying masses of ripe red and black fruits that slowly saturate. Brisk acidity maintains a fantastic balance as this tapers off with a pleasantly bitter tinge. Sour cranberry notes gradually fade.
It takes a few minutes to open this wine, which is almost entirely Pommard clone from the Chehalem Mountains appellation. Aromas of dusty berries and herbs, Red berries that are quite ripe, and savoury herbs. Tart and saline at the finish.
