The 2020 Pinot Noir Grace Benoist Ranch Heirloom delivers seductive floral notes and ripe black cherries that seem almost plummy, yet balanced. It's medium to full-bodied and richly concentrated without any excess weight, yet I couldn't be entirely sure there wasn't a nagging astringency that shouldn't have been there on the otherwise velvety finish.
