The swan song vintage of this cuvée, Doyard's 2015 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru mingles aromas of citrus oil with notions of buttery pastry, dried white flowers and warm biscuits. Medium to full-bodied, layered and structured, with chalky dry extract and lively acids, it's a taut, compact wine that will require a bit of bottle age to unwind.

Fermented and aged for 10 months in second-hand Burgundy barrels. Immensely stylish and satisfying Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, showing plenty of 2015 ripeness and weight with mandarin, lime and juicy white peach notes backed up by toasted hazelnut. A real sense of refreshment and precision, even with the heat of the vintage in tow.
