Made from a strict selection of the best Sauvignon grapes, the 2019 Pouilly-Fumé La Demoiselle de Bourgeois is harvested on the Kimmeridgian marls of Saint-Laurent l’Abbaye, which give deepness, roundness and a remarkable longevity to the wines. The 2019 opens with a very clear, fresh and aromatic bouquet of tropical fruits (mango, passion fruit) intertwined with the fascinating purity of the Kimmeridgian terroir that adds flinty and iodine notes. Dense and intense on the palate, with firm mineral acidity and a polyphenol structure, this is a supple, quite rich but vital and aromatic Pouilly with a long and gastronomic finish. 14% stated alcohol.
